Why should I buy Campaign Suite when there are free generators out there?

As the name implies, Campaign Suite is a number of features suited together to work with eachother. Characters and creatures can be placed in encounters, treasures can be rolled and added to characters. Unlike fanware, Campaign Suite is a professional application created by professional people. You'll receive technical support, updates, helpful instruction, and continued improvement. By registering the product, and our expansions, you encourage publishers to work with us, aid us in making it to conventions to get the latest information on the D20 Scene, help us to afford more and better graphics, and help put us on the map. Each registration is important to us, and every customer receives attention. The more we have to work with, the more we can provide you - the customer.

What if I don't want to give my credit card over the Internet?

That's fine,our buy now page has payment options for phone and mail-in checks, and we will receive your order in a timely fashion. You can then give us your credit card number over the phone, or write us a check, and as soon as we receive payment, we'll ship your order. We are working hard to appear in game and hobby stores everywhere, so talk to your local retailer and request Campaign Suite.

I have some campaign things that aren't handled by data, do you take custom requests?

A

That depends on a few factors. Do you want your special feats, or classes, or items to be released under the Open Game License? There are things you have to comply with to do this, so many aren't willing to. Twin Rose will add things by request, of course, and suggestions are always welcome - especially in areas that you feel would make the interface easier or 'better'. On a case by case basis I will do custom work, having our data entry people work on the product for you. Custom code for completely new games, or other projects, can also be arranged. If have a specific request, you can contact me for an estimate - sorry, no free custom work.

You offer free Upgrades, how often do you come out with them?

Until all of our goals are met, to make this the most complete campaign and map editor to be found, we've been coming out with new upgrades every couple of weeks. Does this mean Campaign Suite is incomplete? Not in the slightest. Already we feel it is more complete than any dungeon or character generator to be found. It just means that one day we hope to be simply the best. However, sometime in the near future we won't be offering free upgrades and if you haven't bought it during this limited time, you won't get the new features as they come out.

What do I get for buying Campaign Suite instead of using the Trial?

A

The trial in itself is a fairly complete program. However, you cannot save your characters, your dungeons or your configuration from session to session. Campaign Suite tracks changes to your characters, and soon your DM will be able to track all of the characters and print-out short-cut sheets for his Player Characters. That means that if you are not using a Registered Version, you cannot enjoy these benefits. When making encounter tables, Registered Users will be able to use Monsters from their Monster Database with a quick search that will make monster selection a snap. It is our goal that entire worlds could be made using Campaign Suite, and people will offer these on the Internet. With the Registered version, you can load other peoples Campaigns, making it a must-have.

I was just pushing a bunch of buttons on the Map Editor, and I got a GDI failure, why?

A

You probably pressed the 'generate dungeon' button many times. On some systems, the system is trying to redraw the large random dungeon you drew, when suddenly it gets told to add another ... And another... And the code gets lost trying to stack many random dungeons on top of eachother. The best way to prevent this is to make only one random dungeon at a time, and wait until the first one is redrawn before adding a second one over the top. With versions greater than 02.07.03 this problem should be corrected.
